Dear Parents October Update

 Dear  Parents, October 9, 2020

I wanted to check in and let you know how things are going in our class. The children and I seem to be settling in nicely. They are working hard everyday to stay in school. I would like to clarify some things going forward that you might have some questions about. I would also like you to remind your children of a few things as well.

Clarifying some possible questions you might have so far:

  1. How many times are we getting out for mask breaks? On average at least 3 times a day

  2. How many times are we getting outside for class? On average at least 2 times a week

  3. How many times are we eating outside? Once or twice a week

  4. What do I do with tests, when my child comes home with them? Please sign and put back into the test folder, also please be checking up on your child’s grades through Option C

  5. What are the kids going to do when the weather is not that great and we have to stay inside? I plan on having them color, draw, watch a movie, or read silently.

  6. What do I do if my child stays home and is not feeling well? Let them rest and feel better.

  7. Do they have to go Virtual if they stay home sick? No because they are not feeling well.

  8. What do I do if my child is feeling better but I want to keep him or her home for a couple days? Please contact me to set a time to pick up after school the required supplies needed for school.

  9. What can I do to help my child ? You can just continue to encourage your child to do their very best.

Please remind your child to:

  1. Always eat a good breakfast

  2. Wear their mask

  3. Bring a good book to read in school

  4. Listen to the teacher

  5. Smile everyday
