Classroom Trials
Our class just finished its second story of the year The Trial of Cardigan Jones. The class broke into small groups and acted out three scenarios that could happen in school. Several students got the opportunity to be a lawyer, judge, witness and a defendant. The activity was to strengthen the children's knowledge of the vocabulary in the story and to understand the complexity of a trial. Your Honor Judge Walkenhorst was really tough!Just kidding he had a lot of fun and so did the rest of the class.
