Let me first congratulate our up and coming Holy Communicants. Below are some pictures of those who will be receiving Holy Communion this weekend and next weekend. The banners in the back drop will be hung in church on the weekend of each child's Holy Eucharist.

Spring is finally here!
Both of my Science classes have begun preparations for our school garden. We filled up plastic cups with seeds to start the process for a plant life cycle. Once our plants have reached the seedling stage they will them either go home with those students who want to plant them in their own gardens or they will be planted in our very own garden. Thank you to all who help with the garden preparations and donations. Mr. G

Earth Day Visitor
I would like to thank Mrs. Gretchen Grobel for coming to our class today and discussing with the entire Third Grade the importance of Recycling. Earth Day is April 22nd and we all need to do more to save our environment. Thanks Mrs. Grobel for the reusable bags and expert advice.

Sons of the American Revolution
Congratulations to Molly Butler, Maeve Irish, and Erin Conroy for being chosen as our winners in my third grade class. Mrs. Bondi and I participated in the Sons of the American Revolution Social Studies and Art contest for students in grades 3-5 in all the Delaware County schools Public and Private. A representative from the organization will come to school next week to collect the posters and then they will notify our school of the winner of the entire contest. Congratulations Ben Franklin would be proud!

The Natural History Museum
Today was an amazing day at the Natural History Museum at Drexel University! We learned so much from the dioramas and from the expert guides at the museum.
Some cool facts I learned today!
Dinosaurs do not have both teeth. They either have molars or canine teeth but not both.
A dinosaur is only labeled a dinosaur by looking at its hips.
Dinosaurs have scales or feathers.
It was so much fun and can't wait to go back in the Summer with Oliver and Vicky!
Here are some awesome pics!!!!

The Last Supper
Last Saturday was so much fun for me watching each group come into my room in the Parish Center and reenact the Last Supper. I think your children learned something special about the Eucharist at the retreat and enjoyed themselves. I saw a lot of interest and excitement from each group that came through my station. Thank you to Sister Mary, Mrs. Pepper, Mrs. Bondi, Mrs. Maria, and all the Parents that came to support their children.
