Here we go Terra Nova's

Yesterday Mrs. Bondi and I got a secret shipment of Genius Water from Harvard University. One of Mrs. Bondi's son's friends goes to Harvard and over-night delivered a shipment for us! J.K. but the kids really believed me! Anything to make it calm and relaxed during the Terra Nova's!

VR Friday and Happy St. Patty's Day

During 3rd and 4th periods my class got to experience using the virtual reality goggles. The class explored the Melbourne Museum in Australia without having to take the 20 hour flight to Australia!
Wow what fun we have in class and learned a lot at the same time.

Daytona Day

Here are some pics from a couple of weeks ago. As you all know I am a huge NASCAR fan so every year to start the NASCAR season off right in school I have a Daytona 500 day in my class. Thanks to Mr. Clark Pierce from Fox Sports Go, every year my classroom gets decorated more for Daytona Day. You can see from the giant banners that hung from my ceiling. Thanks Mr. Pierce! The day is meant to infuse NASCAR and all topics in the daily schedule together. For example we made tracks and measured the speed and distance of the cars, we sang tour National Anthem in the beginning of the day, and we wrote letters to Mr. Hendrick and Jimmie Johnson. Go J.J. #48 Ally Team

Mr. Kelly and I in Dover last year and Jimmie won the race. That was his burn out behind us!

Mr. Tosti meeting Jimmie Johnson for the first time look at the smile on his face.

This years ladies of NASCAR!

Dino Day

Dino Day

I want to thank Rex's mom for coming to school last week and giving us such an awesome presentation on her experience in the field of Paleontology. Mrs. Riley brought in many different fossils and some dinosaur teeth. What a cool experience. Thanks Mrs. Riley!
